Stories that feel like home

Ririwrites is the pen name for Rianat Adedeji, a Nigerian storyteller. Riri has been penning down stories since she was 8, and she spent her secondary school days writing in notebooks in between her classes. She actively wrote on Wattpad between 2020 and 2022, and she published two completed Nigerian stories, both of which raked in hundreds of thousands of reads. She mostly writes YA and NA Nigerian stories because, as a young adult, she wanted Nigerian stories with characters her age and stories she could relate to, but they were almost non-existent; she wants to bridge that gap for all Nigerian Young Adults. She’s currently working on her debut book, TWG, to be published in 2028. More than a writer, Riri is a book lover who runs multiple book clubs and inspires and pushes people to read more. A film enthusiast and film school graduate, Riri is also a scriptwriter and hopes to become a renowned filmmaker someday. She holds a master’s degree in Creative Writing and Literature.
